Social Skills Development Center teaches UCLA’s The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Studies (PEERS®). This program is a manualized, social skills training intervention for youth with social challenges. It has a strong evidence-base for use with adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorder but is also appropriate for children, adolescents, and young adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other socioemotional problems.

SERVICES:

Children: We offer a 16-week evidence-based social skills intervention for children in grades 3 through 5 who are interested in learning ways to help them make and keep friends. For more information, please visit the children section.

Adolescents: We offer a 16-week evidence-based social skills intervention for adolescents in middle school or high school who are interested in learning ways to help them make and keep friends. For more information, please visit the adolescent section.

Young Adults: We offer a 16-week evidence-based social skills intervention for young adults (18 – 30 years old) who are interested in learning ways to help them make and keep friends, and to develop romantic relationships. For more information, please visit the young adult section.

Directions for locating office

Enter off Newhope Street under the Los Caballeros Sports Center archway. Continue driving until you reach the Orange County Mortgage building on the right hand side. It is directly across from the two-story parking structure. We are located in this building on the second floor.
